Linden (Lime) honey in a liquid state is light yellow, sometimes amber with a golden shade. The scent resembles linden flowers. The taste is spicy, sometimes with a slight bitterness. Antiseptic, antispasmodic, diaphoretic, antipyretic, expectorant, slightly hypnotic and calming, reduces fever. It helps in the treatment of influenza, colds, coughs, acute and chronic cold diseases, anginas, sinusitis, and respiratory tract inflammations. It is recommended for diseases of the urinary tract and neuroses. It is characterized by high antibiotic activity.
